Special offer: reduction of initial charge on offshore fund
Investec Asset Management will be introducing a full discount on the initial charge on investments into our offshore funds with effect from 3 January 2011.
This special offer applies until further notice on the purchase of shares in the retail classes of all Investec funds domiciled in Dublin, Guernsey and Luxembourg by South African individuals and entities. This will in no way affect financial advisers' initial fees; however, clients will see reduced initial fees reflected on all statements.
For example, if a client invests into a sub-fund of the Investec Global Strategy Fund, which has an initial fee of 5%, the following applies:

| Fund promoter (Investec) initial charge | 1% | zero |
| Total initial charge (maximum) | 5% | 4% |
