Retirement Products
Investec offers a variety of retirement products of which our Preservation Funds, Retirement Annuity and Living Annuity are the most popular. These products allow investors to take control of their own retirement planning, while making the most of various tax concessions. The products offer full flexibility with varying levels of investment choice, depending on investor needs. In addition there is complete transparency of costs, pricing and performance.
- Retirement Annuity
The Investec Retirement Annuity provides a tax-efficient way to save for retirement. Retirement Annuities are used most often by people who do not belong to an employer’s retirement fund. However, many people use them also for additional retirement savings in respect of additional (non-RF) income like bonuses and rent received. - Preservation Funds
The Investec Preservation Funds provide a tax-efficient way to preserve retirement savings in the event of individuals leaving their employer’s retirement fund, or any other retirement fund. - Living Annuity
The Investec Living Annuity provides a tax-efficient and flexible way for individuals to manage their own pension incomes when they retire from an employer’s retirement fund, or any other retirement fund, including retirement annuity and preservation funds.

Additional adviser fees/reductions are negotiable up to 3.42% initial and 1.14% annual (both including VAT where applicable). For FundSelect, all annual fees/reductions are accrued at a fund level, reducing the need to pay fees from unit sales.
