Investec Asset Management launches EM equity Fund

Built on its established pedigree as an emerging markets investor Investec Asset Management today announced the launch of a dedicated emerging markets equity fund. This adds to its existing range of emerging markets fixed income strategies.

The Investec GSF Emerging Markets Equity Fund will be managed within Investec’s 4Factor capability.

Investec’s 4Factor™ Global Equities investment process has established a strong investment process and long-term performance record spanning over a decade, and has encompassed an emerging markets component since inception. Archie Hart, manager of the fund who brings over 20 years of emerging markets experience, will be supported by the Global 4Factor™ Equity team. The 4Factor™ Global Equity capability includes the top-performing $1.7 billion Investec GSF Asian Equity Fund.

The Fund is designed to cater to the needs of investors who are increasingly looking to supplement their global equity exposure with a dedicated emerging markets strategy.  Domiciled in Luxembourg, it will be aimed at individual investors, discretionary buyers, investment advisers and institutional buyers on a global basis and will be distributed via selected networks.
